Big news for me - I finally solved a Rubik's cube.  I cheated, of course, because I used the directions I found on-line, but hey!  I am still proud.  It's a first ever solve for me.  Even following the directions is not easy. 

I guess I always thought it was not really possible though I saw the videos of others doing it.  I still can't imagine memorizing all the step to do a corner-switch-flip, but it was fun to solve it once.

It made me remember that in the 70s, I preached a sermon using a Rubick's cube as a visual aid.  I can't remember what I said in the sermon, which aggravates me (Why on earth didn't I write out sermons to use again some day?), but I remember that I had the cube pre-set so that I could solve it during the sermon.  Pretty cool at the time!
