This is the first night of our vacation. We are staying at the Sand Springs Campground near Morgantown, WV. We are on the top of a mountain, and the neighbors say it gets into the 40's at night.

I have pilfered some firewood for neighboring fire pits, so we will have a fire in a bit. I got to drive the motor-home a couple of hours today. It was a bit tense at first, until I got used to the feel of it. Of course, it feels like a 39 foot bus.

The fire was great. We even roasted marshmallows on it . We sat out by the fire until almost dark, then went for a walk around the park just at dark. It got cool enough for sweaters but not too cold. The park was rather remote. But it was high up a mountain and had ferns growing like grass. Back in the camper, I watched Casino Royale on the DVD player, but it was 2.5 hours long. So i stayed up until 11:30. Then I had trouble going to sleep.
